Who We Are
COIIM is a non-profit interuniversity consortium established by three Italian universities:
The consortium aims to promote and coordinate scientific research, postgraduate education, technological innovation, and knowledge transfer in the fields of medical sciences, health sciences, and related technologies.
Our Mission
COIIM fosters excellence in research and advanced training in medical and health sciences as well as related technologies by:
funding innovative scientific projects;
supporting specialized postgraduate education;
collaborating with industries, public and private entities;
integrating medical and engineering expertise in an interdisciplinary and sustainable approach.
What We Do
COIIM operates in four key areas:
Scientific Research
Projects in biomedicine, health-related engineering, public health, and sustainable energy for healthcare environments.Advanced Education
Master’s programs, specialization courses, and advanced schools for healthcare professionals, engineers, and researchers.Innovation and Technology Transfer
Collaborations with companies to develop innovative devices, production processes, and services in medical and health fields.National and International Scientific Cooperation
Participation in European projects and cross-border research networks.
